Adobe Flash Nears End of Life.

Microsoft announced along with Adobe back in 2017 that Adobe Flash Player will no longer be supported after December 2020. What this means is most web browsers will discourage or ban usage of Flash Player beginning in 2021. Flash player has been a staple of the internet since at least 1996 when it was produced by Macromedia, who were eventually bought by Adobe. We use it for animations, games, and many other functionalities on the web. But over time it became less secure and as new technologies emerged, Flash player became obsolete.

Let’s introduce one of those new technologies that will be taking the place of Flash Player. We would like to talk about HTML5. HTML5 is the current version of the Hyper Text Markup Language, which we use to make webpages. HTML5 adds support for the <canvas> element. With canvas, we can make 2D and 3D shapes and images, animations, and even games. Do you want to add some animations or interactive functionality to your website? OGITS can help you with that. We have engineers and web designers available that can use this new technology to make your website stand out from the rest.
